Open Every Saturday and Sunday from September 28th through November 8th

Get your flannel shirts on, grab your pumpkin spice latte and come enjoy the fresh air on our 565-acre farm!  We are a simple, authentic, laid-back and dog friendly farm! Take a free hayride to our pumpkin patch or bring along a wagon or bag and walk to our acres of field grown pumpkins to pick your own. We have all sizes and even a special area for kid’s size pumpkins!  At the country store you will find preserves, apple butter, salsa, local honey, crafts and much more! We also have a variety of cooking pumpkins and squash from our fields along with mums, gourds and other fall decorations! Be sure to visit the friendly farm animals, get a slice of pizza and a beer from the food and breweries on site.

    Special event or not, we offer all of our activities including hayrides, country store, fall decorations, feeding the animals, and of course, pumpkin picking.

    Open 10AM - 5PM

    Join the Cattail Chase Horses & Hounds at 11:00AM for a ride through the farm. Greet the horses, meet the riders and give the hounds some love!

    Come catch the spectacular view of beautiful horses, riders, hunt master & lots of happy hound dogs as the traditional fox chase rides to our farm!! An event you won’t forget!! Greet the horses, meet the riders, take some pictures & give the hounds some love! Stay around after and take a free hayride to our pumpkin fields where you pick your family pumpkin right off the vine! Make it your family tradition!!

  • Saturday, October 5th

    Open 10AM - 5PM

    Visit Gentle Giants, a draft horse rescue and some of their rescued horses from 11 AM to 4:30 P.M.

    Gentle Giants was formed in 2005 and they are now the largest draft horse rescue in America located in Mount Airy, Maryland. Gentle Giants efforts are supported solely by donations, adoption fees, and volunteers. Come out and give them some love!

    Open 10AM - 5PM

    Calling all kids! Calling all kids!

    Join us from 11AM to 4PM to see the Howard County Police, Sheriff, Fire & Rescue.

    Take a peek inside real vehicles including fire truck, police car and police motorcycle. Kids will get a chance to talk to first responders, ask them questions and even take home some goodies from each department.

    *Please remember that in case of emergency, the first responders may need to leave early so stop by while they are here!*

    8th Annual Dog Days!

    Give your dogs a fun day out and help us celebrate our faithful pups by bringing them for a day on the farm! Dress your pup in a costume and receive $1 off any pumpkin! Leashes required for all pets and please come prepared to clean up after your pets when nature calls!

    This year we will have rescues set up with their information and some adorable and adoptable dogs on the farm. We will have dog related vendors and you will even get the chance to get your dog pampered while they are here!
