Our greenhouse season is winding down. Beginning Monday June 12, we will be operating under a more relaxed summer schedule:
Mornings you’ll most likely find us in and around the barnyard doing farm chores or conducting tours. In the afternoons, we may be out in the field. A self-serve cash box will be set up in the greenhouse with contact info for anyone with questions.
SUMMER EDUCATIONAL TOURS

It is a fun 2 hours of animal feeding and farm chores, learning planting techniques and a scavenger hunt through the barnyard and farm museum to find old tools and heritage farm equipment. Plus a hayride to Cattail Creek! Check out our Open House page for more information and how to register.
OUR MOST POPULAR OPEN HOUSE:
Friday, June 23 – Ponds, Puddles & Creeks: Your guide will bring you down by hayride to the Cattail Creek. Make sure to wear old tennis shoes or water shoes as we go into the creek to catch a variety of critters that live there. (Please no flip flops as the often end up floating downstream!) After spending some time catching the critters, we will take time to identify what we have found and learn about their habitats and life cycles. After releasing the critters back to the creek we head back to the barnyard to feed the farm animals. Tour time: 10:30 am – Noon. Cost $8.00/child Adults are free! Registration is required on or before June 22nd. Details are on our website.
UNIQUE FARM PARTIES: Looking for a great place to throw a party for any occasion? Look no further! Sharp’s offers a scenic picnic site & campfire, unique outdoor activities, farm animals and hayrides. We have three different packages to choose from! Details are on our website.
