EXPLORING THE CORN MAZE
14 Years of Family Friendly Mazes
Every autumn, we cut our 5 acre corn field, transforming it into a family friendly educational maze. Every fall we choose a farming/agriculture theme with the purpose of enlightening families about a particular subject while having a great time together! The theme of our maze for 2016 was “History of Farm Life & Farm Machines.” Throughout the maze was information about what life was like on a family farm in the 1920’s, 30’s, 40’s 50’s and up to present! Also, how the invention of farm machinery changed over the years. There were also some true and false questions that you have to answer. If you answer correctly, you continue on the path and if answered incorrectly, you end up in a dead end & must turn around to get back on the path! It is a great challenge for the entire family and a wonderful way to become more knowledgeable and appreciative of family farms throughout history!
Admission is $7.00/adult and $5.00 for children. Children under 2 years are free with a paying adult. The admission price includes unlimited entry to the large maze and mini maze. Group discounts are available.
If you have young children that just want the fun of going through the corn, our mini maze is perfect! For just $1.00/person you can go into our mini corn maze as many times as you like!
The activity is perfect for the entire family as well as youth groups or scouts. Click on the link to see what we offer to groups over 15 people.
The corn maze is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from September 30 – November 5, 2017 from 10 AM to 5 PM and on selected weekdays in the afternoon.
